Andy joined Acro’s senior team in 2016 as Engineering Manager, bringing extensive design and development experience gained within the aircraft seating, automotive, and industrial equipment sectors.

Promoted to Head of New Product Development, he partnered with airline Product and Operational teams to deliver complex customer programs across Economy, Premium Economy and Business Class and was responsible for streamlining the New Product Introduction Process, dramatically shortening time to market.  As Technical Director he continues to support Acro’s well known business agility, building and developing world-class engineering capability with emphasis on the cross-functional collaboration which is pivotal in driving the meaningful innovations which underpin creative product development at Acro.

A Mechanical Engineering graduate of the University of Birmingham, Andy is a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (CEng, MIMechE).

Outside of business, Andy is a keen Northampton Saints RFU supporter.  Ever the engineer, he is currently restoring his old racing motorbike with the aim of one day getting it (and possibly himself!) back on the racetrack.
