Allie started her career as an English teacher in Nanjing, China before moving to Chiangmai, Thailand in 2019 to take up a role as personal assistant to a prominent executive covering South-East Asia. She joined Acro in September 2021 to support efficient and precise communications between the company’s executive teams in China and the UK.

Tri-lingual in Mandarin, Cantonese and English and having studied Spanish and Thai, Allie brings outstanding language and communications skills to Acro. She has extensive experience in documents translation as well as simultaneous interpretation, having worked with major organisations including CITIC, Alibaba Group, HUAWEI and Cisco.

In her current role she works closely with Acro CEO Neil Cairns, providing administrative, diary and travel management support as well as devising and maintaining office systems and managing often complex travel and meeting itineraries for visitors of all levels of seniority.

Allie also provides insightful support on marketing projects and is tapping into her rich experience of Chinese Social media platforms such as WeChat, Weibo and Youku, with a view to extending and deepening Acro’s web and social media presence in China.

In her spare time Allie is a fitness and healthy living devotee and enjoys hiking and diving. She combines her passion for worldwide travel with her love of nature and has worked in a voluntary capacity with animal rescue projects in Thailand and protecting coral reefs off the Maldives.
