Acro’s Series 3ST seat for two A320 aircraft

Acro Aircraft Seating is pleased that AerCap has selected Acro’s Series 3ST seat for two A320 aircraft. AerCap is a global leader in aircraft leasing and aviation finance and owner of the largest fleet of commercial aircraft in the world. Acro has a long-standing relationship and has supported the lessor for several years with their seating requirements on a range of aircraft leasing programmes.

On this occasion, AerCap has leased the two A320 aircraft to Turkish low-cost carrier, Onur Air. Based at Istanbul Airport, Onur Air operates its service throughout more than 120 international destinations scheduled and non-scheduled in 25 countries, serving over 100 million passengers since 1992.

Acro’s Series 3ST is a great choice for airline customers as it delivers a robust and reliable seating solution that results in a low-cost of ownership. In addition, the seat balances simplicity and comfort with a fixed seatback which gives a relaxed recline angle and an innovative latchless table. Acro’s extra-spatial design unlocks two inches more legroom than conventional seats in its class at the same pitch, providing legroom advantages even at 28” pitch.

- Alan McInnes, SVP Sales at Acro said:

“We are delighted to continue to support AerCap with their seating requirements and expand our service in the leasing market working with Turkey’s Onur Air. The innovative Series 3ST, created with extra-spatial design and more legroom than conventional seats, offers unrivalled reliability and a superior level of comfort, making it a popular choice for low-cost carriers.”

Onur Air join a growing number of carriers adopting the Series 3ST including Hawaiian Airlines, Spirit Airlines, Finnair, Frontier Airlines, Viva Air and Allegiant Air.
